TINY HOME, BIG PURR
Useful advice starts with honest limits.
We want a useful room plan to stand on its own, whether or not a reader buys anything.
Research and sources
For cat-care basics, we prioritize veterinary institutions and established animal-welfare organizations. Each guide has a short care note and a link to the source behind it. Our layout exercises, checklists, and buying questions are editorial suggestions, not proof that a particular product will suit every cat.
Hands-on means hands-on
We use a tested label only when we have actually used the item and can describe the model, setting, observations, and limitations. The initial guides are not hands-on reviews. Manufacturer specifications, independent research, and our own measurements will not be presented as interchangeable forms of evidence.
Product decisions
We consider usable dimensions, access, stability, setup requirements, cleaning, and the individual cat. Popularity, a small footprint, or a stylish product photo does not establish suitability. Availability and product versions can differ between countries.
Changes and limitations
We show publication dates and change a page’s update date when its substance is revised. Sources and specifications can change. If a source disagrees with our summary, the original source should be checked. Health or behavior changes should be discussed with a qualified veterinarian; these guides cannot assess an individual animal.
Commercial relationships
Read our product-link policy for how commercial links will be identified. Payment will never turn an untested product into a tested recommendation.
